What you can expect to see at Monkey Park:
Each exhibit at Monkey Park has been thoughtfully designed to accentuate the natural environments its respective animal would enjoy in the wild. At the same time, these requirements are complimented by an artistic flare that promotes historical and geographical curiosities using a variety of local colors and artifacts found throughout the country.
If you are lucky, you will see a group of seven to twelve wild Howler Monkey’s foraging along the treetops on our grounds!
A bilingual English/Spanish tour guide can walk you through Monkey Park and tell about our unique projects while answering any questions you may have.
Taking advantage of the native Flora’s natural habitat, we have built a seasonal butterfly garden where you can observe a variety of native butterfly species. These butterflies are set free periodically. Relax, enjoy, and admire the large variety of butterflies and tropical plants that convert this garden into a magical place.
For your convenience, we have recently rebuilt our restaurant, La Coyota. Here we offer a selection of local and common foods and beverages to park visitors as well as the general public.
